Howie-In-The-Hills, FL-- Florida Atlantic University men's golf wrapped up the Mission Inn Collegiate Classic on Sunday. The Owls had two players finish in the top 50.
Adam Kolloff (74-75-77, 226) shot 6-over par on the tournament's final day, and finished tied for 35th place. Mark Washburn (76-75-76, 227) concluded the last round by shooting 5-over par and ended the competition in 39th place. Michael Berger (82-79-77, 238) and Derren Garber (81-84-82) finished tied for 72nd and 88th respectively. Billy Bowling (80-DQ-79, DQ) shot his best round in the tournament's final day.
The Owls (311-313-309, 933) as a squad had a 4-stroke improvement from the second round into the third. FAU completed the tournament in 17th place.
Charleston Southern (292-284-292, 868) claimed victory in the tournament that took place in Howie-In-The-Hills, FL. The individual winner was Jacksonville State's Daniel Willett (69-69-70, 208) who completed the tournament with a 5-under par performance.
FAU is back in action on October 30, when they take part in the Charleston Fall Invitational in Charleston, SC.
