BOCA RATON, FL (October 31, 2006)- Florida Atlantic University men's golf completed the Charleston Southern Invitational on Tuesday. Three golfers finished the three-round event in the top 20.
Adam Kolloff (74, 71, 73 - 218) shot 1-over-par in the tournament's final round. He completed the par 72 course in a tie for 11th place. Michael Berger (76, 70, 75, - 221) and Mark Washburn (75, 69, 77 - 221) both ended the tournament in a tie for 17th place. Derren Garber (74, 76, 79 - 229) completed the tournament shooting 13-over par in a tie for 31st place. Scott MacDougall (83, 76, 82, - 241) participated in his first tournament as an Owl and was a 44th place finisher.
FAU (299, 286, 304 - 889) concluded the tournament in a tie for sixth place. South Carolina (290, 288, 283 - 861) won the Charleston Southern Fall Invitational with three top ten finishers. Western Carolina's Matt Cook (68, 70, 68 - 206) was the individual medalist, shooting 10-under par.
The Owls will finish their fall season at the Stetson Invitational. The two day tournament will begin November 6 in Deland, FL.
