BOCA RATON, FL (Oct 30, 2006)-- Florida Atlantic University women's golf concluded the Debary Intercollegiate on Monday with a season best fifth-place finish.

June Bolme (73, 74 -147) lead the Owls with a 3-over par performance. The junior finished the tournament in a tie for second. Praewnapa Phol-Uayporn (71, 79 -150) had her third straight top 10 finish, shooting 6-over par to take a share of seventh place.

FAU (301, 317- 618) finished in fifth place out of 14 competitors. Minnesota (298, 305 - 603) was the team winner with four top fifteen finishers. Stetson's Danielle Jackson (73, 68 -141) was the individual medalist with an impressive 4-under par final round.

Kimberly D'Andrea (78, 82 -160) had her best finish of the season, ending the two day event in a tie for 38th place. Sandi MacDougall (80, 82 -162) and Gina Larsen (79, 100 -179) completed FAU's five golfer field.

The Owls will wrap up their fall season with the Hatter Fall Classic. The two day tournament begins on November 6.
