Hagberg Named A-Sun Runner of the Week

BOCA RATON, FL -- Raynell Hagberg was named Atlantic Sun Conference Cross Country Runner of the Week, for her performance at the University of Florida Gator Invitational, the conference office announced on Wednesday.
It marks the fifth-time Hagberg has received the honor in her four-year collegiate career.
She is now one honor shy of the A-Sun conference record for Cross Country Runner of the Week awards.
Hagberg broke Florida Atlantic's school record for the 5k run on Sept. 9 with a time of 17:57.
Her time was strong enough for a third-place finish and helped the Owls to a third-place finish overall at the Gator Invitational.
Both men's and women's cross country will head to Tallahassee this Saturday to compete in the FSU Invitational at 8 a.m.
