Lehtinen Honored by SoccerBuzz

BOCA RATON, FL -- Soccer Buzz magazine, a publication dedicated to collegiate women's soccer, has named Susanna Lehtinen to its weekly National Elite Team of the Week for the season's opening week.

Lehtinen, who was also named Atlantic Sun Offensive Player of the Week, scored three goals, including both game winners, in two shutout victories over Monmouth (3-0) and South Florida (1-0). Her total already surpasses that of last year, when she was named A-Sun Freshman of the Year.

The Espoo, Finland, native currently leads the A-Sun in goals and points (six). This is the first time she has received the award.
