June Bolme Named All-Conference

Boca Raton, FL - The Atlantic Sun Conference named Florida Atlantic University women's golfer June Bolme to its All-Conference and All-Freshman teams today.

Bolme, from Oslo, Norway, had a tremendous breakthrough season, never finishing outside of the top 30 while grabbing three top ten finishes. The freshman's consistency paid off with a 78.28 scoring average, the lowest average on the team, and a selection to the A-Sun All-Conference Second Team. After she placed ninth at two separate tournaments, the TPC Virginia Beach Women's Invitational and the Lady Herd/El Diablo Intercollegiate, her year culminated in a sixth-place finish in the A-Sun Tournament, her highest finish yet.

The 2005 A-Sun Golfer, Freshman, and Coach-of-the-Year are voted on by the league's head coaches. The first, second, and all-freshman team honorees are based on the GolfStat rankings compiled at the conclusion of the A-Sun Championship.
