DELAND, FL - Florida Atlantic University shot a final round 324 and finished tied for fifth at the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament in DeLand, FL. June Bolme topped FAU in Wednesday's final round with a five-over par 77. Bolme finished the three-round tournament tied for sixth.
FAU tallied a total of 956, which tied with Mercer. Georgia State won the championship with a 917. Campbell was second at 923, followed by UCF (926) and Troy (939). Host Stetson finished seventh with a 958.
Individually, Bolme was the only Owl to post scores below 80 for all three rounds. She shot a 77 on Monday and 78 on Tuesday. Also on Wednesday, Anna-Claire Daniels shot a 79 and finished tied for 21st overall.
The par-72, 5,942-yard Victoria Hills Golf Course played much tougher on Wednesday with all but one school posting a higher total than on Tuesday. FAU had first and second round scores of 316.
