Condill Earns Academic Third-Team Honors

Florida Atlantic University volleyball player, Makra Condill, earned ESPN The Magazine Academic District 3 Third-Team honors after posting a 3.495 GPA through her senior year. Along with a strong academic background, Condill also serves as President of the Student Athlete Advisory Council.

In 2004, the Crystal Lake, IL native was named the Atlantic Sun Conference Libero of the Year and has broken all of FAU's defensive records in her four-year career. She holds the single match record, which she set in 2004 with 36 digs against Jacksonville. She holds the season digs record after recording 502 digs in 2004 and also holds the career record.

This season she has helped guide the team to a 26-2 record and a no. 1 seed in the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament. The tournament will take place on Nov. 18-19 in Nashville, TN.
