Athletes Take Part in RAINN Get Carded Day 2004

On Thursday, September 23rd, the FAU student-athletes will be taking part in the RAINN (Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network) Get Carded Day 2004. On this day, 1.5 million wallet sized cards will be handed out to college students across the country. The cards will contain tips on how to reduce students' risk of sexual assault, what to do if a student is sexually assaulted, and tips for men. FAU has been given 1000 cards for student-athletes to hand out on the campus and 400 for them to distribute among themselves so that every athlete has this information. Athletes will be visible in the breezeway between 10 am and 2 pm on Thursday.
