Basketball Bash Set for Friday

BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University will showcase its men's and women's basketball programs as part of Basketball Bash this Friday night at FAU Gymnasium in Boca Raton. Doors open at 9:00pm with free food being offered to the first 1,000 fans.
Fans will also have the opportunity to register for free prizes such as Miami Heat tickets, T-Shirts, cash giveaways, and more. Registration for all events, including the Bank Atlantic 2-Ball Contest and Wackadoos Free Throw Contest, and FAU Idol, must take place during the FAU Volleyball game against Lipscomb Friday evening at 7:00pm.
Basketball Bash will give fans their first glimpse of the 2004-05 men's and women's basketball teams. Sidney Green enters his sixth year as head coach of the Owls' men's team while Chancellor Dugan enters her sixth year at the helm of the women's team.
Both teams take part in their first official practice on Saturday. Tickets for the upcoming season are available by calling 1-866-FAU-OWLS.
