Volleyball Sweeps Maine

In a three game sweep over the University of Maine, Florida Atlantic University's Iana Andonova corralled a career-high 12 digs as the Owls went on to defeat the Black Bears 30-19, 30-20, 30-26 at the UConn Autumn Classic.
Andonova (Margate, FL) was one of two FAU players to record a double-double in the match. Andonova registered 10 kills, four blocks and four service aces as the middle blocker. Jeana Boyle (Boca Raton, FL) also picked up a double-double with 37 assists and 14 digs, a match-high.
Abby Miner (Largo, FL) led the Owls' offense with 14 kills and accumulated a .379 hitting percentage, while Leah Guidinger led Maine (6-9) with 12 kills.
Florida Atlantic (5-8) will play the University of Maryland Baltimore County this evening at 5:00 pm in the team's final match at the UConn Autumn Classic.
