Florida Atlantic University's Ellie Weberg set a school record in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:05.70 Saturday afternoon in Tallahassee. The freshman helped guide FAU to a victory over IRCC but saw the Lady Owls fall to Florida State University. Travis Howard picked up two first place finishes for the men in the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke with times of 59.41 and 2:09.81.
Lisa Anderson won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:52.65 and finished second in the 50 and 100-yard freestyle with times of 23.96 and 52.76, respectively.
In the 200-yard breaststroke the Lady Owls finished second, third and fourth as Weberg, Elizabeth Gregory and Christina Horton touched the wall in 2:21.22, 2:27.24 and 2:28.92, respectively.
Another freshman, Geni Burts, added two second place finishes in the 500 free and 200 fly with times of 5:01.38 and 2:05.96.
Emma Petersson completed the 200-yard IM in 2:06.87 for a second place finish.
For the men, Rich Marzonie swam a 51.93 in the 100-yard backstroke for a first place finish, while the 200 free relay and 200 medley relay teams both placed second.
The swim teams travel to Georgia Tech on November 14th for their next meet.
