The Florida Atlantic University women's swim team defeated the University of Miami for the first time in coach Steve Eckelkamp's 14 years at FAU 162-126. Despite not having any divers at the meet in Coral Gables and giving up an automatic 26 points the Lady Owls pulled out a 36 point victory. FAU swept the 100 and 200 breaststroke and the 200 free.

Official times for the meet are currently unavailable.

Florida Atlantic travels to Florida State University on November 1 to face the Seminoles.
