Women's Swimming Opens Season

The Florida Atlantic University women's swim team opened the season on Friday night. The Lady Owls faced Florida and Michigan in a Tri Meet and fell to both teams.
Valeria Dalmastro picked up a fifth place finish in the 50-yard freestyle (24.35), while Emma Petersson finished fifth in the 200-yard IM (2:07.40) and sixth in the 200-yard butterfly (2:08.85).
Boguslawa Bedyk added a fifth place finish of her own in the 100-yard freestyle (53.70).
The FAU men and women take to the pool again on Saturday at the Florida Invite at 11 am.
