Cayse Kaveny led Florida Atlantic University with 10 kills as the Owls defeated Alabama State University Friday night in Montgomery. FAU swept the match 30-23, 30-12, 30-21 to win its third straight match.
Kaveny, a senior middle blocker from Cupertino, CA, was the only player to record double-digit kills in the match. Alabama State's Juanita Nance led her team with seven kills.
Defensively, Makra Condill and Iana Andonova posted 13 digs each as the Owls won a nonconference match.
FAU will travel to Troy, AL on Saturday to face Troy State University in a conference matchup before returning home for a seven game home stretch.
