MIAMI, FL - Jessica Polus led all golfers in Monday's first day of action at the Golden Panther Invitational in Miami. Polus shot a 12-over par 152 in the day's two rounds to take the lead heading into Tuesday's final round. As a team, Florida Atlantic University is in third place with a two-round total of 632, one stroke behind James Madison and six strokes behind leader Arkansas-Little Rock.
Polus posted a 76 in both rounds while teammates Natalia Navarro, Heidi von Korff and Jaclyn Lucas stand at 160 through two rounds. Navarro equaled Polus' 76 in the second round after posting an 84 in the first round.
FAU will make a bid for its second straight victory with Tuesday's final round.
