Florida Atlantic University begins a two-game stretch in California Saturday, December 28, as the Owls take on San Diego State University in San Diego, CA. The game is scheduled to start at 10:05pm EST at Cox Arena and can be heard live on WLVJ 1040-AM and www.fausports.com.

FAU (4-6) is coming off an 84-79 loss at Liberty on December 20. The loss marked the third straight for the Owls. Earnest Crumbley led the team with 23 points while Jeff Cowans scored 19.

Crumbley continues to lead the team with 17.6 points per game while Cowans is second with 14.9. The losing streak is the team's longest since February 2001.

SDSU (5-3) enters the game as a winner of five of its past six games after starting the season 0-2. Senior center Mike Mackell leads the Aztecs with 17.6 points per game. Senior forward Tony Bland is averaging 15.4 points. Senior forward Aerick Sanders leads the team with 9.9 rebounds per game.

The Owls continue the road trip December 30 at UC-Irvine.
