Question from Kaylene Starker: I am in high school and play three sports. Do you feel that an athlete must pick one sport in high school in order to excel in that area?
A:I feel playing multiple sports makes you a better athlete. However, with travel teams and club sports you really do have to focus on one sport due to time constraints.
Question from Rebecca Motten: I noticed you have more out of state players this year. Is there a reason why you are not picking up as many Florida girls?
A: Recruiting is cyclical. Sometimes you have to go out of state to meet your recruiting needs and sometimes the needs can be met right here at home. My first choice is always local.
Question from Tekecia Brown: When does the season for volleyball officially start? Are there separated teams such as JV and Varsity? I want to play next fall but I don't know when anything begins.
A: Volleyball starts the second week of August and we have tryouts the second weekend of the spring and fall semesters. We do not have a JV Team.
