Matt Steicher and Asheley Boland both set varsity records in one-meter diving as Florida Atlantic University's swim team defeated Florida A&M Saturday afternoon at the FAU pool.
Matt Streicher, a junior from Plantation, is a previous National Independent Diver-of-the-Year. He took both the one-meter and three-meter diving events and set a varsity record on the one-meter board with a score of 312.83.
Asheley Boland also set the one-meter diving record by posting a score of 293.70. Her teammate Marion Reiff won the three-meter event.
