SEBRING, FL -

Florida Atlantic University finished the first round of the Springlake Intercollegiate tied for fifth. The Lady Owls shot a 322 at the Springlake Country Club in Sebring, FL. Natalia Navarro led FAU with a three-over par 75 as she finished tied for third overall and one stroke behind the co-leaders. Maria Gutierrez is tied for 12th after a first-round 78.

FAU is tied with William & Mary and is 16 strokes behind first-place Campbell University. Final round action takes place tomorrow.
