Vaughn Named TAAC Player-of-the-Week

Florida Atlantic University's Tamala Vaughn has been named Trans America Athletic Conference player-of-the-week. The senior averaged 20.5ppg and 8.5rpg in FAU's two games last week.

Vaughn had 23 points and 11 rebounds at Mercer on Saturday. The rebounds put her over 500 for her career which makes her just the third Lady Owl ever with 1,000 points and 500 rebounds.

Vaughn leads Florida Atlantic with 14.2ppg. The team next will play UCF Saturday afternoon at 3pm at FAU Gymnasium.
