MIAMI, FL - Florida Atlantic University holds a 16-stroke lead heading into Tuesday's final round at the Pat Bradley Championship in Miami, FL. FAU's Natalia Navarro led all golfers in the first 36 holes with a 70 in round one and a 76 in round two.
Navarro's 70 was the only sub-par round in either of Monday's two rounds on the 6,050-yard International Links of Miami. Jessica Polus also had a strong showing for the Lady Owls with a 78 and 77. Jaclyn Lucas fired a pair of 79's as six of FAU's eight rounds that counted toward the team total were below 80.
The 54-hole tournament concludes with Tuesday's 18-hole final round. FAU currently stands in first place with a total of 625. Florida International is second with 641.
