BOCA RATON, FL -
Florida Atlantic University's men's assistant basketball coach Ken Huber has been named men's basketball associate head coach, announced head coach Sidney Green.
Huber is entering his third season as a member of Green's staff at FAU and sixth overall with Green. He first joined Green while at LIU-Southampton before spending two seasons at North Florida.
"Ken is a perfect example of what head coaches are looking for in their assistants, and that's loyalty," said Green. "With that, his commitment, work ethic, and the fact that he's in the coaching profession for the right reasons, I am very honored to promote him to associate head coach."
Huber is a native of Holgate, OH and graduated from Ohio State in 1996 after working with the OSU men's basketball program for four years.
FAU begins its 2001-02 season November 17 at Hofstra. The team's home opener is November 20 against St. Mary's (MD).
