Golf 1994-1997
Cecilie Lundgreen immediately made an impact at Florida Atlantic University, garnering Atlantic Sun Conference Golfer of the Year honors in 1994 after winning the conference tournament as a freshman and was the first FAU athlete to earn Conference Athlete of the Year honors. The four-time all-conference selection went on to be named the FAU Female Student-Athlete of the Year in 1997. With an outstanding stroke average in the mid-70's she paved the way for FAU's move into Division I-A golf, allowing Florida Atlantic University athletics increased exposure at the national level. Lundgreen was active in FAU's community outreach and youth programs while studying to be a teacher. Lundgreen was also the first FAU Division I-A golfer to continue her playing career as a pro and has continued to play professionally nearly 10 years following her collegiate career.
