With more quarterback sacks than any Owl in history, Hendrickson has continued his attack on quarterbacks into the NFL as a four-time Pro Bowl selection and a first-team All-Pro in 2024. Hendrickson registered 29.5 career sacks in his four years at FAU and owns the Owls' single-season sacks record with 13.5 in 2015. He concluded his career in 2016 by being named the CUSA' Most Valuable Defensive Player and a first-team All-CUSA pick on his way to Defensive MVP honors in the East-West Shrine Game and an invitation to the NFL Combine. Hendrickson was a third-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft by New Orleans and played his first four seasons with the Saints. His career has flourished with the Cincinnati Bengals since 2021, where he became the first Owl to record a sack in the Super Bowl and won the Deacon Jones Award in 2024 after leading the NFL in sacks with 17.5, repeating his effort of 17.5 from 2023. He led the nation in blocked kicks as a senior at FAU, while ranking 21st nationally in sacks and 32nd in tackles for a loss. Setting the school's single-season record with 13.5 sacks as a junior, Hendrickson was named first-team All-CUSA.
