The all-time leading scorer in the history of the men's basketball program, Gantt scored 1,972 points and graduated after his stellar four-year career holding 11 different program records. Gantt was a Sun Belt All-Conference selection three times, earning third-team accolades as a freshman in 2010, second-team honors in 2011 and first-team honors as a senior in 2013 when he scored a single-season school record 677 points and hit 84 three-pointers. He was an NABC All-District pick in each of those seasons, including first-team honors in 2013. Under Head Coach Mike Jarvis, the 2011 Owls captured the program's first regular season conference title by going 21-11 and 13-3 in the Sun Belt, which resulted in an NIT berth. His 468 points scored as a freshman and 677 points as a senior are class records by an Owl. Gantt also holds the FAU career record in field goals (717) and is second all-time in three-pointers (287). The Gainesville, Fla., native, who graduated from FAU with a sociology degree in 2013, was drafted by the Austin Toros in the NBA D-League and is now playing professionally for Basquet San Antoni in Ibiza, Spain.
