Four Women’s Golfers Named WGCA All-American Scholars

BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic University women's golf team had four student-athletes named All-American Scholars by the Women's Golf Coaches Association for the 2017-18 season. The quartet all earned a grade point average of 3.5 or better for the most recent academic year.
            Juniors Tai Barber and Meghan Bennett were recognized, as were sophomores Jennifer Keim and Amanda Leslie.
            Barber, a urban and regional planning major from Grapevine, Texas had a 78.41 season stroke average and was named C-USA Golfer of the Week during the season.  A multimedia studies and digital media major, Bennett finished the season with a 78.62 stroke average.   
            Keim, who hails from South Yarmouth, Massachusetts, posted a 78.48 stroke average through 29 rounds, and notched three top-10 finishes while majoring in nursing. Leslie, an exercise science major from nearby Parkland, Florida, completed the year with a 77.52 stroke average.
