BOCA RATON, Fla. - (Nov. 28, 2017) - A torrid second half shooting performance propelled the Florida Atlantic University men's basketball team to a 91-54 victory over Ave Maria on Tuesday. The Owls evened their record at 3-3 on the year with the win.

Key Plays

FAU got out to an early 18-9 lead in the first half, but the Gyrenes (1-7) used an 18-4 run to take a 27-22 edge with 5:16 to go before halftime. The Owls rallied to take a two-point advantage into the locker room.

Turning Point

The Owls' cushion was still two, 37-35, three minutes into the second half when FAU exploded, outscoring Ave Maria 50-11 over the next 13 and a half minutes to build a 41-point lead.
