Women's Golf Concludes Play at Seminole State Spring Break Tournament

Final Results

Florida Atlantic University women's golf team concluded the Seminole State Spring Break Tournament in 12th place out of 14 teams. The Owls put up a two-round total of 703.

The tournament was held at Timacuan Golf and Country Club in Lake Mary, Fla. The course is a par 71 with a yardage of 7,047.

Sophomore Heather Netti remained the Owls' top finisher moving up 10 spots to tie for 16th with rounds of 83 and 77.

Freshman Yumi Fujii finished 62nd with rounds of 88 and 91. Junior Emily Peters was just behind in 63rd shooting 95 and 86.

Freshmen Macarena Haupt and Jessica McMillan rounded out the group coming in tied for 64th and tied for 69th, respectively. Haupt had a two-day total of 183 while McMillan ended with a total stroke count of 190.

The Owls will make the short trip up to Orlanda, Fla. to take part in the University of Cincinnati Shootout on March 20-22.
