BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic University men's basketball team (1-3) will host Ave Maria and East Carolina in its next two games. It will be the Owls' second meeting with Ave Maria and their third with ECU.
Ave Maria (5-2) comes to Boca Raton on Sunday. The Gyrenes (5-2) dropped a 55-51 loss to Florida College on Tuesday. FAU defeated Ave Maria 86-51 in last year's season opener. Jackson Trapp scored a career high 23 points in the win. Sunday's game is Boca Raton Community Day and a limited number of magnetic picture frames will be given away.
On Wednesday night, FAU will host the Pirates. Last season, the two teams met in a Conference USA matchup. On that occasion, Justin Raffington's fifth straight double-double helped the Owls take down ECU 78-67. Wednesday is Toys for Tots night and fans can donate a toy for chances to win prizes during the game.
Sunday's tipoff is at 2 p.m. Wednesday's game starts at 7 p.m. Live video for both games will be available at www.fausports.com and on ESPN 106.3 FM.
