Boca Raton, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic University baseball team hit two home runs and completed a season sweep of UCF with a 4-3 victory on Tuesday, May 14 at the FAU Baseball Stadium. The game marked the final home game of the 2013 season, and the victory was the team's fourth straight.

FAU (32-20) took a 3-2 lead after a two-run home run from junior catcher Levi Meyer over the right-center field fence in the fourth inning. The homer scored freshman Brendon Sanger and came with two outs in the inning.

The Owls added to their lead, 4-2, following a solo homer by senior outfielder Corey Keller in the sixth inning.

UCF (28-25) trimmed the deficit with James Vazquez's second home run of the night to open the ninth inning. Adams recorded his Sun Belt Conference-leading 14th save and tied the right hander for second all-time in league history with 27 career saves.

The Knights tied the game in the second inning on Vazquez's first homer and took a 2-1 lead on a RBI double by Brett Gordon in the top of the fourth inning. That was a short-lived advantage with Meyer's third home run of the season at the bottom of the frame.

FAU's Mitch Morales and Pittman led the nine-hit offensive attack with each collecting two hits. Senior Mark Nelson, Keller, Meyer, Rocklein and Sanger each recorded one hit in the victory.

Sophomore Bo Logan improved to 5-1 on the season, tossing 3.2 scoreless innings in relief. The left hander retired the first 10 batters he faced, entering the game to face a bases-loaded jam in the fifth inning.
