FAU Football Away Game Tickets to Go On Sale July 15

Florida, Michigan State and Auburn Games Tickets Highlight the Away Package

BOCA RATON, FL (July 13, 2011) - Florida Atlantic University athletics will begin selling football away game tickets on Friday, July 15. The Owls will play games on the home turfs of the University of Florida, Michigan State University and Auburn University.


The Owls will travel to the "Swamp" in Gainesville on Saturday, September 3 where they will open the 2011 schedule against the Florida Gators under the direction of Florida's new head coach Will Muschamp. Tickets will cost $50.
FAU then will travel to Lansing, Michigan on Saturday, September 10, where the Owls will face Michigan State. Tickets will cost $49. The Owls also will play defending national champion Auburn Tigers on Saturday, September 24 in Auburn, Alabama. Tickets will cost $50.


Fans will be able to purchase the tickets on a one-to-one basis, one ticket for each FAU season ticket purchased. A $10 processing fee will be added to each order and tickets will be mail out in mid-August.


The Owls will begin their home schedule on Saturday, October 15 against Western Kentucky University on the opening day of the University's new on-campus stadium. The stadium, a $70 million project, is a 30,000-seat open-air stadium, slated to feature 6,000 premium seats, including 24 suites, 26 loge boxes, 1,000 premier club seats and 4,000 priority club seats, and the latest, state-of-the-art amenities.
