BOCA RATON, FL- The Florida Atlantic University men's soccer team was only able to come away with one win on Saturday after playing Nova Southeastern and Palm Beach Atlantic.
Despite scoring two goals against Nova Southeastern, FAU could not pull off a win against the sharks who scored three goals in the game. Nova Southeastern edged out the Owls by a goal even with the efforts of freshman, defender Lukas Simons who had a goal and Darnell King who scored the other for FAU.
In the second game, the Owls improved on their defense and shutout Palm Beach Atlantic, beating the Sailfish 2-0. FAU senior, forward Darnell King put in his second goal of the day, while forward Alan Naigeon scored the other goal to give the Owls a comfortable lead that they were able to maintain to win the game.
The FAU men's soccer team will continue their spring schedule on April 8 with an alumni game in Boca Raton, FL at 7:00 p.m.
