Final Stats

BOCA RATON, FL - It was a tough night offensively for the Florida Atlantic University volleyball team as it fell to North Texas in three sets (15-25, 18-25, 18-25) on Friday.

It was the Sun Belt opener for both teams. The Owls (8-8, 0-1 Sun Belt) hit just .108 for the night as the Mean Green (9-7, 1-0) were able to make many difficult digs to extend rallies. NT established control in each of the first two sets and FAU was unable to mount a rally in either set.

In the third set, the Owls managed to stay even through the first half of the match, but were eventually overtaken by the Mean Green in that set as well. FAU will finish its three match homestand on Saturday, when it hosts Denver. Match time is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
