Over the weekend, Florida Atlantic University's Amit Odaiyar took second at the 22nd PGA Minority Collegiate Golf Championship in the independent division. He shot a 217 in the three rounds at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, FL.

Odaiyar finished two shots behind Armando Favela, the winner of the independent division. After shooting a 71 in the first round, Odaiyar finished with two rounds of 73 to complete the tournament.

Odaiyar will return to FAU next season to help the Owls improve on a 12th place finish at the Sun Belt Conference Championships.
