Junior (2007-08): Averaged 76.2 strokes over 14 rounds while totaling 1,083 strokes...placed 5th at Bear Lakes (2/9/08) for best finish of season...also finished 6th at Ocean Breeze (2/27/08)...shot a 72 for PAR on the first day of the North South Intercollegiate tournament. Sophomore (2006-07): Competed in four rounds, totaling 327 strokes for a per-round average of 81.8...tied for 68th in the NSU Invitational at PGA National.
Freshman (2005-06): Competed in six rounds, compiling 473 strokes...shot a season-low score of 75 in the second round of the NSU Spring Classic (3/28), where he finished tied for 39th, firing 238 strokes (+22) over three rounds...named to FAU President's List with a 4.0 GPA during his fall semester.
High School: Played at Cedar Park High School for Coach Cary Williams...first team all-district recipient in 2004 and 2005... team MVP in 2004 and 2005.
Personal: Finance major...born July 19, 1987, in Plantation, FL...son of David and Monica Cottle, and Randy and Monique Berggren...holds cumulative 3.63 GPA to begin junior year.
