BOCA RATON - , Two days before Florida Atlantic University and Head Coach Howard Schnellenberger officially open the Tom Oxley Athletic Center, the team spent practice in the respective groups.

It was a day of review. Much of the team's practice time was spent in offensive and defensive groups reviewing plays in preparation for the team's first Spring Scrimmage, 4 pm, Saturday.

Following the group period, the Owls worked on the running game on one field while the wide receivers and defensive back worked on the opposite field.

Practice was concluded with plays and first down work, with officials. Thursday will be a meetings day. Friday is the next scheduled field practice day which will include the Ribbon Cutting ceremony.
