New Orleans Bowl: Part of an experienced line that allowed just one sack in the program's first bowl appearance.

2007: Part of a unit that has played together for three years...allowed just 15 sacks on the season, despite playing a difficult schedule...offensive line was ranked No. 13 nationally with a 1.15 average per game.

2006: Played in every game, starting each...reputation for playing hard-nosed football despite being banged up was exemplified during preseason when he didn't miss a day despite extensive rib contusions among other conditions...experimented with moving to guard or to the left side of the ball during the spring.

2005: Joined the team as a true freshman and earned a starting spot versus Louisville...made the best of his opportunity earning five more starts at either right tackle or right guard...played in every game except the season-opener at Kansas...earned season-ending non-scholarship MVP award.

High School: Played for Elliott Bonner at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

Personal: Management major...son of John and Laurie Rizzo...born March 8, 1987, in Fort Lauderdale, FL...brother Anthony is a member of the Boston Red Sox farm system.
