New Orleans Bowl: Recorded a tackle assist in the bowl victory over Memphis. 2007: Saw significant time on the field and drew a midseason start...recorded 19 tackles, 11 solo...used speed to his advantage to apply pressure...recorded three tackles for a loss of 11 yards, including one sack for a loss of seven...nearly 40% of his tackles were for a loss of yardage...also credited with a hurry...play was not limited to the defensive line...continued to be a strength of the special teams. 2006: Moved to defensive end...saw action in six games primarily on special teams after coming back from a hamstring injury...recorded three tackles, one sack for a loss six...his tackles came in the final two games of the year, his sack was against FIU. 2005: Saw action in seven games and was asked to play tight end and offensive line due to injuries...developed into a strong physical player through his work in the weightroom. 2004: Joined the squad in the fall...with three players in front, all of whom have been starters, he elected to redshirt the season.
