As a junior (2008): Had an outstanding season as a first-year Division I player... Hit .342 starting in 55 of FAU's 60 games in left field... Batted second in the order in 51 of those 55 starts... Posted 23 multiple-hit games... Hit safely in all but six of FAU's 28 Sun Belt Conference contests... Hit Sun Belt pitching at a .368 clip... Scored 29 runs in 28 SBC games and had 59 runs in 59 games played overall... Enjoyed hitting streaks of both eight and nine games during the course of the season... Hit .429 through the first 10 games of the year... Nine times had three hits or more, first against Eastern Michigan (2/28)... Equaled an FAU single-game record by stealing three bases vs. Eastern Michigan (3/4)...Hit the first of four home runs on the year against Louisiana-Lafayette (3/14)... JUCO: Played for Alex Morales at Palm Beach CC... Hit .390 as a freshman and named second team all-state... Was hitting .420 as a sophomore before injury cut his season short.
