Visiting Team Information
The Florida Atlantic University Sports Medicine Staff would like to welcome you and your team to Florida Atlantic University on the Boca Raton campus. We want to make your stay as convenient as possible. If you have any questions or special requests please feel free to call in advance so that we may accommodate your needs.
Sports Medicine Services:
There will be a certified staff or graduate assistant athletic trainer present on site for all sporting events. One our team physicians will be present at all home football, women's basketball and men's basketball games and on call for all other events. All visiting teams will have access to one of our training rooms two hours prior to the start time of all events for taping and treatment. The modalities available for use include hot/cold whirlpools, moist hot packs, ice, sequential compression unit, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation. If your team is traveling without a certified athletic trainer please contact us in advance so that proper arrangements can be made for the care of your athletes. Below is a list of supplies available, athletic training room location, personnel contact information, and other important medical information.

Athletic Training Room Locations:
Gymnasium Athletic Training Room
From Glades Road going east, make a left onto NW 10th Ave. (Broward Avenue). Make a Left at Volusia Ave. Follow the signs to the gymnasium. As you enter the gymnasium, turn left toward the concession stand. Take first right before the concession stand and proceed thru double doors and down the hallway. Take your next left and the athletic training room is located in the door on the right, across from the men's locker room.
Oxley Center Training Room
From Glades Road going east, make a left onto NW 10th Ave. (Broward Avenue). Make a Left at Volusia Ave. Follow the signs to the gymnasium. Go past the gymnasium at first stop sign, and continue straight on Volusia. The Tom Oxley Center will be located on your left. Once in the building, go thru the double doors to the right, pass the red lockers and the athletic training room will be the second door on the left.

Make a left out of the main FAU entrance onto Glades Road. Make right at the next light, NW 13th street. Make left at next light, on to Meadows Road. Loop around street and the hospital will be the 1st left and Emergency Room will be your second left.

Make Left out of main FAU entrance onto Glades Road. As you head east on Glades Rd, you will see a Shell Gas Station on the right. Turn Right into Oak's Plaza shopping center, you will see the CVS straight ahead.
